BLUE AIR

Regular price $995.00

It wasn’t just the championships, acrobatic dunks, and game winning shots. It was something bigger. You saw it on playgrounds, with your friends and even at the mall. We all wanted to be like Mike. Why? Because he made basketball look fun.

This photo captures the fun in MJs game and adds another cool factor. Shot outside at  twilight, the creation is inspired by Jordan's iconic 1988 Dunk Contest performance, but reimagined in Jordan's white uniform and black cement shoes.

About Under the Lights

Under the Lights is a photo series that reimagines sports history through our toys. The idea was inspired by how I imagined my childhood sports figurines looked while playing with them; under stadium lights, twilit skies, and realistic as possible.

Each photo is shot outdoors to produce the most authentic look of athletes playing under stadium lights at twilight.

The backdrop is purposely minimal, symbolizing what flow state looks and feels like for athletes. No fans. No crowd. No distractions. Just calmness, focus and the stillness of the moment.

Each photograph is meant to be calming & nostalgia evoking. A reminder to slow down, smile, and reconnect with our childlike passions & enthusiasm.

About Sole of the Streets

Sole of the Streets is a photo series that pays homage to sneaker culture by photographing iconic sneakers in a way that immerses us in the street. Not just any street, but the hidden alleys and bustling avenues where culture, grit, and creativity collide. It’s where sneakers become more than footwear—they become our collective identity.

Sneakers have the power to unite. In a world that often feels foreign and divided, where negativity and isolation can overshadow our sense of belonging, the series is meant to rekindle our connection to community and creativity through sneakers. Each image serves as a reminder of the unity and inspiration we can find even amidst the complexities of modern society.

About Paul Schlossman

Hi I’m Paul

I’m a sports enthusiast, Seinfeld fanatic, city dweller, animal lover, and photographer.

This photography wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for a pivotal decision I made in 2021. After 15 years in consumer insights, I was feeling stuck—not because I didn’t enjoy what I was doing, but because I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was meant to create something more personal.

I first dabbled in photography while studying design in college, capturing skylines and stadiums at night—two things I loved as a kid, cities and sports. But as graduation neared, I chose a more practical path and pursued a career in marketing and consumer insights.

So, after 15 years of diving deep into work, collaborating with big brands and great people, I had gained invaluable experience. But when the pandemic hit, I found myself turning back to the things that brought me joy as a kid—my old baseball cards and sports figurines. Icons like Griffey, Jordan, and Puckett brought back a flood of memories, and with that, reignited my desire to create.

That spark of inspiration, combined with time for reflection, pushed me to follow my passion: creating art as a photographer, focusing on the things I love.

My background in consumer insights has made me a better photographer. It’s taught me the importance of context—sometimes you need to find it, sometimes you need to create it, but no matter what, context is key to getting your point across. This perspective allows me to see things differently, helping bring out the emotion in each image I create.

As much as my work brings out the kid in me, it’s also meant to bring out the kid in you—to reignite that sense of wonder, imagination, and curiosity. Beyond that, my art is meant to serve as a vessel that helps us reconnect, break down barriers, and spark conversations.

SHIPPING

Production takes up to 10-15 business days, but normally is much shorter.

Prints under 20" are shipped flat, larger prints are professionally rolled and shipped in a box.

Once your order is ready to be shipped you'll receive an email confirmation with tracking. Your print should arrive in 3-5 days for US orders.

Framing Recommendations
  • For the best quality, use a local framer. I especially recommend this for prints 20 x 30 and larger. Handling prints of this size can be challenging so I'd leave it to a professional.
  • Level Frames is a high quality online framer that has a better price than local framers (usually). I use Level for most of my larger prints or prints that have uncommon dimmensions. The frames are light and well constructed, plus you can customize the frame color, mat opening size and mat size.
  • Homeforia is the least expensive choice I recommend, and I use them for 12 x 18 and 16 x 24 prints that are horizontally framed.
  • If you have a question about framers, feel free to reach out.
RETURN POLICY

All prints are unique and produced only once ordered. This also means that returns and exchanges are not supported if you ordered the wrong size, design, or simply changed your mind. You may cancel your order within 24 hours after placing the order.
